Large bronze British pennies can add a unique, romantic look to your vintage-inspired jewelry designs. These pennies range in date from the 1860s through the 1960s. As the British monarchs changed through time, the faces on the coins changed to reflect the reigning monarch. The faces on the pennies we have are Queen Victoria (1800s), King Edward VII (1900s–1910), King George V (1910s–1930s), King George VI (1940s), Queen Elizabeth II (1960s). Each penny is 1.25 inches (30 mm) in diameter. These pennies vary in color, patina, and condition, as some are very worn whereas others look fairly new. Also available are a limited number of Italian Centisimi from the 1860s, which are similar in size and composition to the British pennies and which bear the bust of Vittorio Emanuele II. Sold individually; American penny shown for scale.
