On a rainy day in November 2007, we braved the streets of Bangkok without our tour group to track down the amulet market at Wat Ratchanadda (the metal temple). After much twisting and turning, we did find the beautiful temple and the amulet market beyond. We brought these Buddha charms/amulets back with us from Thailand that day, and we are honored to offer them to you. These double-sided, gold and enamel amulets feature one of seven colors and postures of the Buddha, one for each day of the Thai week. (Each day of the Thai week is assigned a color and a posture of the Buddha, for more information, go here.) The back features the figure of a seated Buddha. Each amulet is 11/16” (17 mm) long by 1/2” (13 mm) wide and comes with a gold-tone jump ring.
