These original-issue WWI goggles have green/yellow tinted lenses with light-weight metal frames that are painted black; some black paint may be chipping or scratched. Each lens measures about 2” x 1.5”. The frames are vented and are lined with ribbon. The outside of the heavy tin box has some tarnish and wear from over 80 years of storage and use, but its interior, and the goggles, are in good condition. The oval box is hinged and measures about 3"x 2". The goggles are adjustable with a tie strap. Like our other vintage items, when they're gone, they're gone forever.
